The diploma was issued by the school's teachers' council who had made a decision to award Nina Shereshevskaya with a silver medal for excellent results in her academic studies of sciences, and for exemplary conduct. The diploma bears the school's stamp, and is hand-signed by the chairman of the teachers' council, headmistress, the priest who taught Bible studies, and several teachers. In good to very good condition. The diploma has been stored folded in four, and some of the folds have developed partial separations, easily repairable with tape on the verso, if desired. There are also a few wrinkles, and wear along the edges and at the corners. However, almost all the wear is contained to the margins and does not obscure any of the text, signatures, or the school's stamp.
