Latvian Porcelain Figurine Zemgale Folk Dancer, by Riga Porcelain Factory, circa 1960s.
Petite, charming and spirited, the figurine stands a little over 4" tall, the plinth is 1 ½" across. The figurine depicts a young Latvian girl in national costume, dancing the Zemgale folk dance.
In excellent condition. Upon close inspection, a small spot of missing glaze under the girl's right hand can be noticed, clearly a glazing accident. It is not easily noticeable, and there is no post-production wear visible to the naked eye.
