
White Leather Knot for a Shashka or Officer Saber on a Parade or Honor Guard Detail, circa 1960s-80s.
Hand-made of good quality leather dyed white. Measures approx. 16.5" in total, from end of strap loop to lower edge of tassel.
In excellent condition, appears to be only minimally used. The leather is very supple, without tears, scuffs or discoloration spots; it has only some minor dust that should clean off nicely. The application of a little polish or a good leather preparation could make this knot look like new!
