In good condition. The gold plating on both cups is intact and has retained its full original luster. The saucer with the small chip on the rim has a ¾"-long area where the gold plating has rubbed off. The rest of it, and all of it on the other saucer is also intact and shows its original luster. One of the saucers features 3 small areas of light scuffing, symmetrically positioned, suggesting that they were incurred in storage or transport, rubbing against something that touched the saucer at these spots. Both cups feature tiny specks of gold leaf outside of the ornament in random places on the wall. One of the cups also shows 4 tiny bubbles under the glaze. The inside surface of the cups shows several microscopic points of contact or bubbles under the glaze. With the exception of the chip on the saucer, all of this detriment has been incurred during production and is unobtrusive and not really detractive.

Please note that the teaspoon in our photos is for size reference.
