Large metal tray, hand-painted in traditional Russian folk-art style, circa 1980s.
Measures approx. 12 ½" across. Hand-painted in bright colors over black background in the style of traditional folk-art miniature painting, similar to Palekh, Khokhloma, Mstera and many others. The maker's mark and the 1980s price of 3 rubles are stamped on the bottom.
In brand-new unused condition. The tray shows negligible traces of storage wear, barely there and absolutely not detractive.
We have several such trays in stock. The artwork on each is similar but not one of them is exactly identical to another although all of them are equally beautiful.
