Medallion is in silver gilt and enamels; measures 47.2 mm tall (incl. eyelet), 40.9 mm wide; weighs 35.5 g not including the suspension and connecting link. Type 2 featuring a single-piece medallion without rivets.

In excellent condition. The enamel is pristine, completely free of any wear that could be found even under 10x magnification. The details are perfect with only one or two miniscule dings to the edge of the star and the hammer & sickle emblem, no other wear visible to the naked eye. Comes on original suspension, a two-layer model in aluminum, with perfectly preserved, clean old ribbon. The connecting link appears to be original and its ends are still joined by solder.
