Medal for the Liberation of Warsaw, Variation 2, late 1940s - early 50s.
In brass; 32.1 mm wide. In excellent condition. The medal shows practically no wear visible to the naked eye. The raised details are perfect and crisp. There are a few small oxidation spots on the reverse that are not detractive, but the original "gilt" mint luster is otherwise pristine and exceptionally bright on both sides.
Comes on original suspension device, a late 1940s model in brass, with perfectly preserved clean old ribbon. A beautiful piece overall!
