Colonel General Shoulder Boards, Land Forces, circa 1970s-80s.
Measure 17.5 cm long (approx. 6 7/8"), 6.5 cm wide. Four-sided, with gold embroidered stars and red piping and backing designating service as the Land Forces. Style used for everyday kitel tunics and overcoats.
In excellent condition, apparently unissued. There is a tiny moth bite to the red piping at the corner of one of the boards, barely noticeable; the boards are otherwise pristine and perfectly clean. A very uncommon pair of boards for very high-ranking general officer just one step below the rank of Marshal.
