Soviet Nautical Code Flag for Figure 0 ("Ноль") of Russian Nautical Code or Russian letter or Latin letter "Z" (Zulu) of the International Nautical Code, dated 1949.

In wool bunting, same quality and construction as the typical Soviet Navy ensign and other naval flags of the period. Measures approx. 30" x 23". Comes with a long attachment rope in natural hemp (as opposed to synthetic thread as seen on later Soviet flags), complete with metal hardware to hoist on the line. The hoist sleeve shows logo of the Kr(asnyi) Vodnik Dmitrieva Factory and an April 1949 date of manufacture.
