In olive drab wool gabardine, with band and piping in napped crimson wool.. Features smaller, early style crown and visor. The hat badge is a two-piece model for officer dress hat used only from 1964-68. The sweat diamond shows logo of the Krasnyi Voin ("Red Warrior") Factory in Moscow and a 1960 date of manufacture. The liner is marked Size 60 (US Size 7 ½ - Extra Large.)
In good condition. The top of the crown has a single small moth hole at the edge and a few barely noticeable nips or tracks. There are a couple of less noticeable moth bites and track

An attractive hat with very uncommon hat badge.

wool items.
