In brass, 28.2 mm wide. Very attractive piece showing firefighting insignia in 3-d profile on the obverse. The reverse has double-headed eagle emblem and raised inscription "In Commemoration of the All-Russia Firefighting Convention and Exhibition, SPB (St. Petersburg) IRPO (Imperial Russian Firefighter Society) 1892".
In very fine to excellent condition. The artwork and lettering are exceptionally well-preserved and crisp on both sides. The toning to the brass is overall uniform and very attractive, with just a single small blemish on the obverse near the edge

attractive, with just a single small blemish on the obverse
near the edge at 2 o'clock. Some of the original gilt finish
is clearly visible in recessed areas. There is a small nick
to the edge on the obverse at approx. 8 o'clock and a
scratch in the same area, not too detractive. Minor dings to
the raised edge on the reverse.
