Horse Racing Competition, award badge, circa 1940s-50s.

Brass, enamels, 28.4 x 21.0 mm. The enamels are of exquisite quality, on par with some of the early Mongolian orders or pre-WW2 Soviet badges. A very attractive and uncommon piece!

In excellent condition. The enamels are flawless, and the gilt finish on the horseman and horse is very well preserved. The pin attachment is fully functional.
