Two of the three group leaders are wearing budyonovka cloth helmets.

Condition of photo is very good to excellent, some very minor wear and dirt that is visible on the surface if the picture is held at an angle to the light, but the image itself is very clear. Mounted in a small frame, it would look quite impressive hanging on a wall or sitting on a bookshelf in a musician's study.

DOBROKHIM is the Russian abbreviation for "Society of Friends of Chemical Defense and Chemical Industry". It was an organization that was not strictly military but that conducted defense preparedness programs like gas mask drills. (An enemy's possible use of poison gas in an attack was a real terror for many people around the world in the aftermath of WW1.) We show a photo of the badge the young soldier seems to be wearing.
