Map covering a broad area of Eastern Europe including Danzig, Kiev, Minsk, Warsaw, Gomel, and Chernigev, dated 1936.
28 1/12" x 19 3/4. Border across the top trimmed away, taking away the map's title and source. Originally created in 1925, updated and printed in 1936 or later. Scale 1:1,680,000. Notations on the obverse in pencil appear to be air force related and may deal with ordinance expenditures.
Very good condition. Various tiny holes where folds cross each other, but none are large enough to negatively affect the map's appearance. Borders reinforced with archival paper tape.
Attractive map, giving a broad overview of some of WW2's most hard fought for regions in Eastern Europe.
