39th anniversary of the Victory over Germany, large 1984 photo poster reproduces classic photograph of Fascist banners being dumped into Red Square gutters during the Victory Parade in Moscow.

25 1/4" x 37 3/4". Good quality glossy photo paper.

Excellent condition. There is a tiny bit of edge crumpling at a few places but virtually any sort of frame will hide the crumpling completely.

If you are not a stamp collector, you may miss the fact that the art director tried to give the poster the look of an old 1940s postcard by placing two "cancellations" on the right hand side.

There are two WW 2 images that have assumed iconic status in the world's imagination: one is the star shape of the Order of the Fatherland War (which would be reissued to Soviet veterans
