Badge of a Participant of the XVIII Komsomol Conference of the Ulyanovsk Region, circa 1980s.

Aluminum, "cold" enamels; 30.1 x 50.4 mm. The badge is larger and features far more elaborate artwork than typical VLKSM conference badges of the period, likely due to the significance of the city of Ulyanovsk (formerly Simbirsk) as Lenin's birthplace. Excellent condition.
