East Germany, Best Badge of the NVA, Nationale Volksarmee, 8th Award, 1969-82.

In brass, paint, lacquer, measures 38 mm in height, 31 mm in width, the overall height including the repeat pendant is approximately 47 mm.

In very good to excellent condition. The wear to the red lacquer near the top right-hand corner is a group of very small circular punctures, visible only at strong magnification. The rest of the red background area shows several hairlines, virtually invisible without strong magnification.
