Russian Orthodox Three-Panel Folding Icon (Skladen) of Saint Virgin of Vladimir with Saints, Apostles and Archangels on Side Panels.
In bronze, weighs nearly 2 oz. The side panels measure 2" x 1" each, the middle panel is 2" square. The central panel depicts the Virgin Mary of Vladimir and Child Christ, with the image of Christ-Not-Made-By-Hand above. The side panels feature various saints, apostles, and archangels. The reverse is unmarked and has the remaining part of a broken loop for threading a cord to wear the icon on your chest.
In very good condition. There is mild wear to the high points of the artwork, but mostly on the side panels. The center panel has retained its original fine details.
