The cabinet photo presents a sitting portrait of a young man in the Imperial Russian Army uniform, with the number 427 on the shoulder boards, which identifies him as a private in the 427th "Pudozh" Infantry Regiment, 107th Infantry Division of the Imperial Russian Army which was in combat during WW1. The photo is signed on the verso with the soldier's first and last name, Priidik Wuus, and is dated 1916.
