The size is 6 ¼" x 4 ½", with a pre-printed postal stamp cancelled with the First Day stamp issued by the Vinius Post Office and dated 31 December 1976. Published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation unknown. The artwork in the left pane of the obverse is a rendition of the artist's self-portrait. However, there is no special-issue commemorative postal stamp in his honor.
In very good to excellent condition, showing just minor wrinkles and corner bumps.
