Brass gilt, enamel, lacquer; 43.8 x 30.1 mm. Fine quality two-piece construction badge with the Soviet state seal superimposed on a shield and sword emblem. Raised Moscow Mint logo to the reverse.
Excellent, near mint condition. The enamel and lacquer are perfect; the gold finish is bright and spotless. The screw post is full-length, nearly 13.5 mm measured from the reverse of the badge, and includes original mint marked screw plate.
The badge was established in 1987, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Soviet Police. It was awarded for outstanding achievements to
