First Day Cover for the 1980 Moscow Olympics, shows the emblem of the games, 1976.
The size is 6 ¼" x 4 ½", published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation unknown. The obverse features a large special-issue postal stamp showing the emblem of the games, canceled by the First Day stamp issued by the Moscow Post Office and dated 28 December 1976. The artwork on the left side of the obverse is identical to the graphics of the stamp.
In excellent condition, just minimal storage wear to the verso.
