The size is standard 6 ¼" x 4 ½", published by the Philatelists Union of the USSR, an uncommon publisher; circulation 50,000, very small by Soviet standards. A four-stamp set of postal stamps showing different images of Yuri Gagarin, is canceled with the First Day stamp issued by the post office of Zvezdnyy Gorodok ("Star City"), the cosmonaut training center in Moscow suburbs. The cancel is dated 12 April 1991, making it one of, if not the latest Soviet-made First Day product before the collapse of the Soviet Union. The artwork was done by O.
