The size is 3 ½" x 5 ½", unmailable without a cover. Published by the PLAKAT ("Poster") Publishers, Moscow, circulation 470,000. The postcard is part of the series "Soviet Cosmonauts." The photographer's name, Yu. Zharov, is printed in the upper left-hand corner on the verso. The artwork is an offset print of Zharov's photo portrait of Soviet cosmonaut Valeriy Rozhdestvenskiy. This is an approximation of a correctly formatted First Day postcard, and appears to be the brainchild of the Kaluga Regional Post Office which issued the First Day Stamp to commemorate the Cosmonautics Day celebr
