Liepaja Base of the Ocean-Going Fishing Fleet (LBORF), Commemorative Badge, Latvian SSR, 1973.

Brass, paint, 33.0 x 27.0 mm. The Russian inscription ЛБОРФ ("LBORF") is the acronym of the Liepaja base of the Океанрыбфлот ("Okeanrybflot", i.e. Ocean Fishing Fleet), one of the Latvian SSR state companies that appeared in 1964 as a result of a split-up of a larger Latvian Fishing Fleet Base organization. Excellent condition.
