The size is standard 6 ¼" x 4 ½", postally used. The obverse shows two canceled postal stamps: a 1963 stamp with the first woman cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova with the dates of her flight, 16-19 April 1963, and a stamp with the image of cosmonaut Pavel Belyaev and the dates of his flight, 18-19 March 1965. The obverse also has a rectangular registered mail stamp and two cancels dated 28 September 1965. The stamp in purple ink at the bottom was apparently applied to register receipt of the letter in Branch #6732 of the Savings Bank of the USSR. The postal cancel on the verso is also dat

In excellent condition: all the stamps and the typewritten address on the obverse are clear and perfectly legible.
