Postcard sent by a Soviet WW2 veteran to his local military commissariat requesting paperwork for his pension, 14 May 1945.

The size is continental standard 6" x 4", with a pre-printed government postal stamp. The obverse has two cancels matching the geography of the addresses The left side of the obverse shows a wartime motivational poster "MORE airplanes, tanks, cannons, shells." The postcard is addressed to the Head of the Financial Department of the Yaroslavl Regional Military Commissariat, and was apparently sent by a WW2 veteran who needed the commissariat to send his personnel file to his local branch of the savings bank, which was required for issuing his military pension benefit.

In very good to excellent condition. About ¼" was cut off the left edge with scissors, affecting some lines of the letter on the verso but never obscuring the content.
