The medal is otherwise completely free of wear visible to the naked eye and has only a couple of microscopic contact marks that are not easy to find even under a 10x magnification. There is an attractive light patina throughout but no significant blemishes or oxidation spots; a good amount of the original "gilt" mint luster is visible in recessed areas on both sides.
The medal comes on an original brass suspension device with a recent, lightly used ribbon. Overall, a very nice example of the Soviet WW2 victory medal.
