The inscription below the portrait reads, in Georgian and Russian, "XXV Years to Soviet Georgia." The card is unissued. The text of the invitation is in Georgian and Russian, reading "Respectfully requesting your participation in the celebrations on occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of the Soviet Power in Georgia, which will take place on 24 - 25 February 1946 in the city of Tbilisi."

In very good to excellent condition. The paper of the invitation card is coated but thin and very well preserved, showing only a modicum of soiling, mostly to the front cover, and barely noticeable wrinkling to the paper.
