
Medal for Valor, Type 2 Variation 3, late 1940s - early 1990s.
Silver, enamel; measures 42.0 mm in height incl. eyelet, 37.1 mm wide; weighs 27.9 g not including the suspension and connecting link. Features reverse without a serial number and fine quality enamel in the letters (unlike the lacquer used on WW2 issues.)
In excellent condition. The medal shows no wear beside a few tiny contact marks and a couple of minuscule dings to the edge, all of them nearly unnoticeable to the naked eye. The raised details and enamel are pristine. Shows a very attractive patina to silver. Comes on original suspension in brass with a perfectly preserved old r
