Outstanding, excellent condition. The medallion is completely free of any wear visible to the naked eye and has only some microscopic contact marks that are completely unnoticeable without magnification. The raised details of the artwork and lettering are perfect and exceptionally crisp. The original "gilt" mint luster is nicely preserved and bright in recessed areas on both sides, especially the reverse. There is an attractive mild toning throughout, no

The medal comes on a brass suspension of late 1940s vintage. The perfectly clean ribbon is old, although probably of a more recent vintage than the medal itself. The connecting link appears to be of the period. Overall, an exceptionally well-preserved example of the Koenigsberg Medal.
