In brass, measures 37.0 mm in height incl. eyelet, 32.1 mm in width; weighs 17.2 g not including the suspension and connecting link.
In excellent condition. Both sides of the medallion have only some minor dings to the edge, no other wear visible to the naked eye. The raised details are extremely well-preserved and crisp. There is attractive even toning to the brass throughout, no significant blemishes; traces of the original "gilt" mint luster are visible in recessed areas on both sides, especially the reverse.

Comes on an original WW2 suspension device, a double-layer model is steel with self-locking pin. The perfectly preserved clean ribbon shows
age, although it is more recent than the medal itself. Overall, a very nice example of the Variation 1 Capture of Vienna Medal.
