Outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is perfect, completely free of any wear that could be found even under a 10x magnification. There
are a couple of microscopic contact marks on the reverse that are barely noticeable with a loupe; both sides are otherwise pristine, with
perfect stippling and nice even toning to silver. Includes original suspension, a WW2 two-layer model in steel with self-locking pin. The old,
possibly original ribbon is perfectly preserved and clean. The connecting link appears to be original, and its ends are still joined with
solder. To summarize, this is a truly perfect example of the scarcer of the two sub-variations of the numbered Type 2 - in our opinion,
impossible to upgrade.
