Portrait of Stalin, Embroidery on Linen, artist signed and dated, 8 March 1951.
Large format, 16" x 21", mounted on plywood, the linen foundation is held in place by multiple thumb tacks. In excellent condition. The plywood backing is very slightly warped but the choice of thumbtacks to hold the canvas on the backing makes it very easy to re-stretch the artwork on another backing for framing. The artwork itself is pristine, not a stitch torn or out of place.
