We are listing the IDs in the chronological order of their issue, following the timeline of Dreimanis' career.

1. ID of a deputy of the Tukums District Council of Workers' Deputies, 1946. In booklet format measuring 4 ¼" x 3" with hard covers wrapped in high-quality fabric with golden lettering on the front reading "Tukums District Council of Workers' Deputies" in Latvian and Russian under the state emblem of Latvian SSR. The information inside identifies Leonidas Dreimanis as a deputy of the Tukums District Council, 1st convocation. The full date of issue is not filled out, just the year. The year 1946 was the "year of firsts" after Latvia had been re-annexed by the Soviet Union and became a Soviet Socialist Republic, again. Perhaps, that explains the lax documentation protocol: the incomplete date and the absence of the deputy's hand signature.

In excellent condition. The only wear worth mentioning is that the gold paint of the lettering on the cover is rather worn off but still retains about half of its luster, and is quite legible. Inside, all the printed text, signatures and seals are pristine

2. ID of a member of the Latvian chapter of the All-Union Society for Propagating Political and Scientific Knowledge, issued 28 May 1949. In booklet format measuring 3 ½" x 2 ½". In leatherette-wrapped hard covers with the name of the society embossed on the cover in bronze paint, in Latvian and Russian.

In excellent condition. The bronze paint of the lettering on the cover has lost some of its luster but the paint is still present and intact. Inside, all the printed and handwritten text, seals and signatures are pristine.

World War Two expanded Stalin's empire, and the need to indoctrinate the people of its newly acquired member was great. Thus, on 29 April 1947 the Council of Ministers of the USSR instituted the All-Union Society for Propagating Political and Scientific Knowledge. Many decades later the society continued to exist under the modest title "All-Union Society Knowledge". Ordinary Soviet citizens had a very vague understanding of its role and mission and thought it had something to do with popularizing scientific knowledge.

3. Photo ID of a member of the Council on Collective Farm Affairs at the Government of the USSR, Latvian SSR, issued in Moscow on 7 January 1950. In booklet format measuring 4" x 3". In leatherette-wrapped hard covers with the USSR state emblem and the name of the council on the cover in gold-colored paint. Perhaps because the Council was an All-Union-level organization, the ID is in Russian only. It identifies "Leonid Dreiman" (Russified version of his name) as a Comptroller with a representative of the Council on Collective Farm Affairs for Latvian SSR.

In very good condition, showing minimal wear to the leatherette of the cover. The gold lettering is about 95% intact and retains most of its original luster. Inside, the printed and handwritten text shows mild wear, the seals are rather faded but everything - the text, seals and signatures, - are quite legible. The ID photo shows a few tiny chips and scuffs to the emulsion, but they are mostly along the edges and not very detractive. The image is in sharp focus.

Considering the level of resistance of Latvian farmers to collectivization, and the drive of the Soviet government to herd the advanced and successful Latvian farmers into collective farms, the Council on Collective Farm Affairs was of the utmost importance to the Soviets, the position of a comptroller with this Council pivotal for Dreimanis' career.

4. Photo ID Certificate of Exemption from Military Service, issued 1 February 1956 by Kirovskiy District Military Commissariat, Riga, Latvian SSR. In booklet format measuring 3" x 4". In paperback covers. The certificate cites a code from the roster of health issues of the Military Milistry of the USSR, based on which Dreimanis was exempt from military service. Whether or not he had this condition or was just considered too important in his post as Comptroller for Collective Farm Affairs is anyone's guess. The ID states that Dreimanis did not serve in the Soviet Armed Forces, did not participate in the Patriotic or any other war, had never been wounded, and had never been decorated with an award.

In excellent condition, no wear visible to the naked eye except for a few minor wrinkles to the paper.

5. ID of a patient in a special clinic for government VIPs, issued in 1958. In booklet format measuring 3 ½" x 2 ½", in oilcloth-wrapped hard covers. The ID states that Leonidas Dreimanis is entitled to treatment in the Latvian Special Clinic as Chairman of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers.

In very good to excellent condition. The oilcloth of the cover shows mild wear. Inside, all the printed and handwritten text, seals and signatures are clear and legible.

6. Photo ID of Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers, issued on 15 Febuary 1962. In booklet format measuring 3 ½" x 2 ½". In hard covers wrapped in fine leather. The Latvian and Russian abbreviated name of the All-Union Central Committee of Trade Unions is embossed on the front cover in gold.

In superb condition, showing no significant wear inside or out.

7. ID of a patient at the Clinic of the Health Ministry of Latvian SSR, valid until 31 December 1963. In booklet format measuring 3 ½" x 2 ½". In oilcloth-wrapped hard covers with the name and address of the clinic embossed on the front cover. The ID states that Leonidas Dreimanis is entitled to be treated in the special clinic as Chairman of the Trade Union of Agriculture.

In very good to excellent condition, showing minimal wear to the spine of the cover. The bronze paint of the lettering has lost its luster, but the words are still legible when tilting the cover to reflect a bright light. Inside, all the printed and handwritten text, seal and signature are perfectly legible.

8. Photo ID of Economist with the Directorate for Collective Farm Affairs, issued on 13 April 1967. In booklet format measuring 4 ½" x 3 ½". In oilcloth-wrapped beveled hard covers with the Emblem of Latvian SSR and the word "certificate" embossed on the front cover, in bronze paint. The ID specifies that Dreimanis was responsible for enforcing the code of agricultural collectives.

In excellent condition. The bronze paint of the lettering on the cover has lost some of its original luster but is still intact. Inside, the ID photo has never been affixed. All the printed and handwritten information, signatures and seals, are clear and perfectly legible.

9. Photo ID of an employee of the Ministry of Melioration and Water Management of Latvian SSR, valid until 31 December 1968. In booklet format measuring 3 ½" x 2 ½". In hard covers wrapped in fine leather. The ID specifies that Dreimanis worked as an engineer with the technical production department. The ID bears the seal of the ministry and the minister's signature - in Latvian on the Latvian language page, and in Russian on the Russian language page.

In excellent condition, showing only a tiny scuff to the leather at the foot of the spine.
