The markings on the hoist sleeve read "Pennant of the Fleet of the Ministry of Fishing Industry of the USSR," followed by the manufacturer's logo, and the year of manufacture, 1983. Above the year is the ГОСТ (GOST, Russian acronym for "State Standard") manufacturing code. The Russian abbreviation "MPX" (MRH) stands for "Ministry of Fishing Industry."
