Olympic Bear, Cast Iron Mascot of the 1980 Moscow Olympics, by Kasli, maker marked and dated, 1980.

Stands 4" tall, weighs over 1 lb. despite the diminutive stature. The figurine is listed on p. 143 of Cast Iron Casting (1920 - 2009) by A. Zak. The listing mentions that two variations of the figurine were made: large and small. This bear matches the photo of the large version in the book.

In excellent condition. The "Dutch soot" coating is almost entirely intact, showing minimal wear in recessed areas which looks like a light accumulation of fine dust. There are also tiny scuffs to the Dutch soot, behind the bear's right ear, and under its right elbow, both not too obviou

There are also tiny scuffs to the Dutch soot, behind the bear's right ear, and under its right elbow, both not too obvious and not detractive. The maker's mark and year are clearly seen on the sole of the bear's left foot, part of the mold.
