The very revolution that gave birth to Soviet Russia, the Civil War, Red Terror, famines, and the Soviet Union in all its socialist glory. The lettering under the artwork reads "Storming the Winter Palace".

In excellent, outstanding condition. Very attractive tarnish in the recessed areas accents the high relief of the artwork which is cast with amazing attention to minutest details, be it the faces and clothes of the attackers or the architectural embellishments of the Alexandrian Column and the buildings surrounding the Palace Square. The protective plastic on the reverse has a missing piece which allows to see that the artwork is reinforced with epoxy resin.

Overall, a very unusual and highly artistic display piece for a collection of Soviet memorabilia and presentational art.
