The photo presents a decorated WW2 veteran in dress uniform with Signal Corps insignia, wearing two Orders of the Red Star, Mongolian and Soviet medals, including Medal for Victory over Japan, Medal for Combat Service, and the 30th Anniversary of the Army and Navy Medal. The archival entry identifies the officer as Vasily Myakenko, is dated 5 December 1951 and bears the seal of the 55th Special Red Banner Khingan Rifle Regiment.

In very good to excellent condition. The paper is unwrinkled and clean on both sides, the image is in sharp enough focus to identify the decorations. There is a couple of minuscule contact points and a scuff to the emulsion, barely visible at a normal viewing angle. The text and seal of the archival entry are perfectly legible.
