This glass, smaller than the standard 250-ml so-called "Malinovsky" glass, was very popular among Soviet alcoholics and workers of the food serving industry. Alcoholics loved it because it fit in their pockets better while they roamed the streets in search of two kindred souls who would chip in for a bottle of vodka (traditionally, this kind of libation was done 'a-trois'). Food service workers loved it because they could shave off 50 ml of whatever beverage they served in them, and still charge the customers for a full glass.

In excellent condition. The glass does show a few tiny scratches and scuffs but most of them are visible only if you tilt the glass to reflect a bright light. There is also a small chip to the bottom rim. It does not have sharp edges, is safe to the touch, more felt than seen and does not affect stability of the glass.

Please note that the teaspoon in our photo is for size reference.
