Large shield made in nickel-plated steel and enamels, measures approx. 70 mm tall x 54 mm wide. The national emblem of Ukraine in the center is in a high 3-d profile. Under the emblem is the individual service number of the patrolman stamped and filled with red paint. The inscription at the top of the badge on the scrolls of national colors of sky blue and gold is "MVS of Ukraine". The inscription along the lower edge is "Patrol Service".
The badge is in excellent condition, showing practically no wear. The enamel and finish on the obverse are completely intact. The reverse shows
