In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is essentially pristine, retaining beautiful luster, showing no wear noticeable to the naked eye and having merely a few microscopic contact marks that can be found with a 10x loupe. The details of the artwork are perfect. The gold finish is nicely preserved and bright on both sides of the badge. The fragile gray finish on the top ornament and edge of the shield is likewise perfect. The screw post is full length, approx. 11.5 mm, and includes original Pobeda Factory screw plate.

Established in 1947, this was one of the two badges of the Proficiency series that came up after the war. This particular example is probably from the early-50s, produced several years before the cancellation of the service-specific awards of the proficiency series in 1957. It is in truly superb condition, literally impossible to upgrade.
