Large format, measures approx. 21 ¼" x 13 ¾". The image size is approx. 17" x 10". This is the original work of the artist Yu. Shibanov who signed it in pencil. The reverse features the artist's name and title of the linocut. The ink stamp in the bottom right-hand corner of the reverse is that of the Fine Arts Salon of the Moscow Arts Fund, perhaps the highest-esteemed artists' association in the entire USSR.
The linocut itself is in impeccable condition. The paper around it is in good condition, showing some creasing, minor corner and edge bumps and very faint soiling. None of

None of the damage is close to the image and is not too detractive. Frankly, some detriment is to be expected when dealing with manhandled original artwork.
The belltower of Ivan the Great is a temple-belltower located in the Moscow Kremlin, part of the church ensemble in the Kremlin's Cathedral Square. It was built in 1505-1509 but continued to be modified, enlarged and reconstructed until 1815.
Yuri Shibanov (born 1945) is a Russian Soviet painter, master of graphic arts, President of the Graphic Arts Club and an avid collector.
