In very good to excellent condition. If you look really close, you can see traces of a minuscule repair job done on the right wrist where it touches the stock of the rifle. That and a couple of minor scuff marks on her right hip and even tinier two on the butt end of the stock are the only items of detriment that are post-production. Since what impresses viewers about her is her determined, no-nonsense look, the repair work here does not detract from her "impact", not to mention it is barely noticeable.
The figure was modeled by sculptor Raisa Marchuk. It is often referred to as "Osoaviakhimovka (Осоавиахимовка)", which stands for female OSOAVIAKhIM member. The OSOAVIAKhIM was a huge organization for paramilitary and civil defense training. Among other things, it ran the Voroshilov Marksman program which was intended to give Soviet citizens of both sexes and all ages basic training in rifle shooting. The program was nothing less than a massive war preparation effort and it certainly paid big dividends during WW2.
