The lithograph measures approx. 9 ¾" x 7 ¾". Total size with the backing frame is 13 ¾" x 10 ½". Printed on rough paper often encountered in sketch books for pencil drawing, affixed by a thin line of glue along the top edge of the lithograph to a thin cardboard backing inside a printed frame. The title of the painting and name of the artist are printed under the lithograph on the right. The painting depicts a WW2 scene with a Soviet bomber, escorted by a fighter plane, banking into a turn and starting to descend for dropping its deadly load. A small clearing in the cloud cover reveals what looks like ruins of a city on the banks of a river with tall Gothic-looking spires, suggesting that this takes place over some Eastern-European country or perhaps Germany itself, the war nearing its end.

The lithograph is in excellent condition. No damage to the lithograph. The backing cardboard is in excellent condition showing just a hint of discoloration due to light exposure along the side edges and a barely discernible crease at the left bottom corner, not at all detracting.

Please note that the pen in our photo is for size reference.
