Silver gilt, enamels; measures 30.3 mm in width, 26.2 mm in height at the flagpole; weighs 11.1 g.
The reverse shows raised Moscow mint mark "MMD" with a "flat top" D and engraved serial number 88 followed by a Roman numeral X. The latter indicates that the badge was issued to a member of the 10th Convocation of the Supreme Soviet of Moldavia which took place in 1980 and had 380 members each of whom was issued one pin back and one screw back badge.
