In very fine to excellent condition, uncommonly good for a Soviet military badge of WW2 era. The enamel has only minimal overall wear and retains a very attractive luster. There is a single pinprick-sized flake to the white band between the letters at approx. 10:30 o'clock position and some microscopic flakes and contact marks to the red enamel on the center medallion, but the badge is completely free of significant chips or flaking. The details of the truck and wreath are practically pristine and exceptionally crisp. The gold finish on the wreath and truck is well-preserved, and so is the silver finish in the central portion on the reverse of the badge. The black tar-like substance on the reverse near the screw post was applied by the original manufacturer, not a sign of repair. The screw post measures approx.14 mm in length, has not been reduced, and comes with an original Pobeda Factory screw plate.
