
Yugoslavia, Badge (Breast Shield) of an Instructor, Air Force Motor Vehicle Driver School, #0377, circa 1960s-70s.
An extremely large and massive piece in gilded and silver-plated brass and high-quality "hot-baked" enamels. Measures 61.0 x 54.4 mm, weighs 46.7 g not including the screw plate. There is a stamped individual serial number 0377 to the reverse (from our admittedly limited experience with these badges, their serial numbers do not go over 3-digit range.)

The gilt finish is beautifully preserved and bright; the silver finish is perfect on both sides of the badge. The screw posts are of full length and include original screw plates maker-marked in Cyrillic "ЗИН КОВНИЦА" (a Belgrade manufacturer).
