In excellent condition. The enamel on the center medallion is perfect, while the white enamel on the starburst has just a couple of microscopic surface flakes at the edges that are completely unnoticeable to the naked eye, no significant wear of any kind. The details of the saber, rifle and the state emblem are beautifully crisp and show no wear visible without magnification. The fragile gilt finish on the rays is fully present and bright. The rivets are perfectly tight. There is attractive toning to silver on the reverse. The screw post is full length, over 18.5 mm long. Comes with a late post-war Soviet screw plate that fits perfectly.
