Bulgaria, Order of Labor Glory, 3rd class, with original case of issue, 1970s-80s.

Brass gilt, silver-plating, enamels; 40.3 mm wide. An interesting and complex "industrial" design. The case shows national emblem of the Bulgarian People's Republic and the name / class of the decoration impressed in gold on the cover.

In excellent condition. There are a couple of tiny dings to the edge, not detractive. The gilt finish is nicely preserved and bright with only some very minor contact marks, no significant wear. The box is likewise in excellent condition.

Analogous in its concept to the Soviet Order of Labor Glory which appeared during the same year, it was awarded to industrial and agricultural workers who had worked at the same enterprise for a long time and showed consistently good results. Just like its Soviet counterpart, the award was sequential - i.e., having been awarded with its lower class was a prerequisite for the next higher class.
